Serie A Preview: AC Milan v. Genoa

Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2015

Kickoff: 2:45 PM ET (USA) / 20:45 CET (ITA)

League Position: Milan (10), Genoa (8)

Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Milan, Italy

Milan play Genoa this week.

I hope they win.

Tale of the Tape

Last 6 Serie A matches:

Milan are not very good.

Genoa are 1 goal scored, and 2 goals conceded better than Milan.

My thoughts exactly.

My thoughts exactly.

Missing Pieces

Character, talent, experience, a plan, teamwork, determination, respect for the shirt. A few players are missing too.

Genoa are without former Milan men Borriello and Antonini, along with Argentine pair Tino Costa and Diego Perotti.

Impossible Line-up

I’d just start the whole Primavera.

Possible Line-up

Diego Lopez

Abate – Rami – Paletta – De Sciglio

Poli – De Jong – Bonaventura

Honda – Pazzini – Suso

What to Watch for:

Danger Man – You just know Niang is going to score, don’t you?

Curva Sud – Love them or hate them, they’ll have something to say again at tonight’s match.

Who cares? – The players I mean. Who actually cares? They better make themselves known these upcoming weeks. There are hopes that the sale of the team will result in a fire sale of the players. Anybody who thinks they deserve to stick around only a has a few more rounds to prove it.
